Hi and welcome to the July issue
of On The Road. A nice variety this month. Some assignment and
some stock sales that I thought you might find interesting.

My yearly activities at the United
States Air Force Academy ends with the Thunderbirds that fly
over the graduation. This also provided me with my first opportunity
to use my NEW Nikon 200mm-400mmVR Zoom. WOW!....let me say
it again.....WOW! A beautiful piece of equipment. Easy to
use, fast (f4), and sharp! Nikon D2H, ISO200, Aperture Priority,
f8,WB Cloudy, with Nikon TC14E 1.4X Teleconverter. I used
the VR normal mode. |

Michael Phelps, USA Swimmer and the
top Olympian going to Athens. Every publication doing Olympic
previews wants Michael Phelps. A dry portrait is a rare
image as his time is so valuable. Nikon D2H, ISO200, Nikon

Stock image sales are climbing as the Summer Olympics
draw near. This image of Velodrome Team Pursuit Finals is
from the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul Korea and is part of
a 20 image exhibition of my Summer Olympic work that will
be on display at the Parthanon Museum in Nashville Tenn. during

Another stock image sale. This image
of Bela Karolyi feeding Camels at his ranch in New Waverly,
TX. is one of several historical Karolyi images to be used
in an E Entertainment story for the month of August. Nikon
F5, Kodak 100 ASA Film, Nikon 105mm lens.

So ends another month of shooting
and sales, a good combination of income generating that many photographers
forget about. Owning your images makes this "one-two"
punch possible. It is always wise to create multiple money making
